Each day began with this offering formula taught to the children CONCRETE INSTRUMENTS OF HOLINESS
[...]: «My God, I give you my heart, take it, if you like, so that no
creature may possess it, but You alone, my good Jesus». Thérèse
recalls it in her Manuscripts: «I prayed a lot to the good Jesus and I
often gave Him my heart using the little formula that my mother had
taught me» .
