Eduardo and Laura lived with the constant desire to “make each other feel good”.
They were able to put aside their pride and pay attention everyday not so much to
the vulnerabilities of their spouse rather to themselves, to make themselves more
“lovable”. Their marriage was a journey of love, self-giving and the acceptance of
pain, even physical pain, in the footsteps of Christ.
