Dearest Sister Augusta,
[...] At that time all hope of recovering with medication was lost
and this was very evident to me and the sisters.
I was waiting for my life to end from one day to another.
Therefore, I can confirm to you that I regained my health after
we prayed through the intercession of Sergio Bernardini: this is a true
fact and one that I can testify to myself.
This happened at the end of 1966 and I got worse until 1967.
But from the beginning of the intercession I began to improve
and in 1968 I was able to leave Tokyo, where I was in the infirmary,
to go and work in our bookshop in Osaka.
Even today my prayer of gratitude for this immense grace
continues.
