AND CHILDREN
enGaGement: a time oF preparation
Sergio and Domenica had two different personalities, but
they soon realized they had a life project in common, they could
look together towards the same goal: to create a family with many
children, who would do the world so much good.
They spent time together talking about themselves and their
families; Domenica was more talkative while Sergio would stick to
the essentials. On their walks they read the Gospel, to have a safe
ground to share and on which to confront each other. Engagement
was a time for them when, guided by the Word of God, they began to
fuse their hearts, souls, and minds.
marriaGe
After only a few months of engagement, the young couple was
married on May 20, 1914.
